In search of the Beacon of Ben Lomond

Was there really a beacon on Ben Lomond? If so, who lit it, when and why? There's no hard evidence such as archaeology or documented sources we can look at to help answer those questions, so this episode explores other angles and wider beacon history to come up with some suggestions, and a conclusion that perhaps links back to some history of the east side of the loch.

I've also got an email address you can get in touch on, it's eastlochlomondhistory1@gmail.com, and it would be great to get feedback, critical comment, and any thoughts or potential additions to the known history and suggestions being put forward in this podcast.
